Type of Articles
Research Article is a report of the results of a systematic study, research, or development.
An Academic Article is a work of writing an interesting topic in which the author presents new knowledge by using theories, concepts, and related research results as information sources.
Review Article is an article that combines theories, concepts, and research results on many subjects, the author will synthesize the literature to compile it into a conclusion or argument on a particular matter, which is a review of the academic progress of that matter.
📢 Announcement: Transition from Page Numbers to Article Numbers
Journal of Education and Learning Reviews (JELR)
The Journal of Education and Learning Reviews (JELR) would like to inform authors, reviewers, readers, and indexing partners that starting from the year 2026 onward, the journal will adopt an Article Number (Article ID) system in place of traditional page numbering for all newly published articles.
This transition reflects the journal’s commitment to international publishing best practices and aligns with standards commonly adopted by major indexing and abstracting databases, including Web of Science (WoS), Scopus, EBSCO, ProQuest, and Crossref. The use of article numbers supports online-only and open access publishing, improves metadata consistency, and facilitates accurate citation, indexing, and long-term digital preservation.
Under the new system:
Each published article will be assigned a unique Article Number (Article ID).
Page numbers will no longer be used for articles published from 2026 onward.
Citation formats will reference the Article Number instead of page ranges.
Articles published prior to 2026 will retain their original page numbers and will not be altered.
The journal will provide updated citation guidelines and metadata standards to ensure a smooth transition for authors and readers.
