A Study of Participation in the Strategic Planning of the Personnel of the Faculty of Liberal Arts ,Thammasat University

Abstract

This research Its purpose is to study the level of Participation in the Strategic Planning of the Personnel and personnel factors affecting the level of personnel participation is strategic planning  of the Faculty of Liberal Arts ,Thammasat University. The research population were practitioners in the Faculty of Liberal Arts. Thammasat University, consisting of 113 Thai professors and 56academic support staffs. The research methodology was a questionnaire, data analysis was done by using a computer program and the statistics used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation, relationship between two or more variables.

The research results found that Most of the respondents were female, 111 people, accounting for 65.7 percent, aged between 37-46 years, 106 people, accounting for 62.7 percent, educational level. Most of them graduated. There were 62 people at the master’s level, accounting for 64.5 percent, and the period of working in the Faculty of Liberal Arts. Most were between 11-15 years old, numbering 72 people, accounting for 42.6 percent. Questionaire Respondents participated in the preparation of strategic plans for the Faculty of Liberal Arts personnel, Thammasat University. Overall, it is at a moderate level. When considering each aspect, it was found that respondents participated in the preparation of strategic plan for operating according to the plan. There was no difference in the overall level of participation in the preparation of the Faculty’s strategic plan and Faculty personnel liberal Arts with different levels of education and positions. Participate in the preparation of strategic plans. The overall picture is different.
