Application of Electronic Signatures in the Procurement Process of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital

Abstract

This academic article focuses on presenting the application of electronic signature technology in the procurement process of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital. The main purpose of using this technology is to facilitate operations, respond to digital transformation (which is an important factor in increasing organizational efficiency), reduce the redundancy of work steps, and decrease the time required for procurement processes. This method utilizes digital data instead of traditional paper documents, which create problems regarding delays, errors, and complications in the verification process. The development of this technology not only helps to increase convenience and reduce errors in the work process but also reduces the redundancy of documents, increases convenience in tracking the status of purchase orders for staff within the unit, and creates a new standard in procurement that helps reduce costs in terms of resources, including both time and labor. It also increases data accuracy and can be traced effectively, especially in organizations that focus on building trust and transparency in their work systems. The use of electronic signatures and purchase orders reduces the risk of fraud and increases data security, ensuring that important data will not be lost or altered without authorization.
