Operational Problems of the Student Care and Support System Under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area Lopburi

The research aimed to study and compare the problems of the operation of the student care and support system of secondary schools affiliated to the Secondary Education Area Office Lopburi classified by position and work experience. The samples consisted of 304 administrators, head of division of the student support system and teacher under the Secondary Education Area Office Lopburi. The research instrument used for collecting data was a five–point Likert scale questionnaire with the reliability score of 0.93. Data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and hypotheses testing by using one-way analysis of variance (one-way ANOVA) and Scheffe’s method for testing multiple comparisons in analysis of variance. The research results revealed that the problems in the operation of the student care and support system of secondary schools under the Secondary Education Area Office Lopburi was at the low level. Comparing with different position of participants, there was no difference in the overall level of problems in the operation of the student care and support system of secondary schools under the Office of the Secondary Education Area Lopburi. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect of student development promotion was significantly different at the statistical significance level of .05. Regarding the multiple comparisons, it was also found that the aspect of student promotion and development and operational problems were different at the statistical significance level of .05. Classified by overall work experience, no difference was found. When considering each aspect, it was found that the prevention and problem-solving aspect and the referral aspect were different at the statistical significance level of .05. When comparing the differences by pairs, it was found that the aspect of referral and operational problems were different at the statistical significance level of .05.
