Journal Policies

Suan Dusit Graduate School Academic Journal, Suan Dusit University has been established since 2004 and committed to the dissemination of academic works of research articles, academic articles, review articles and book reviews with an aim to exchange the knowledge covering all areas of Humanities and Social Sciences (Education, Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Criminology, Business Administration and other related fields).

Suan Dusit Graduate School Academic Journal, Suan Dusit University is the academic journal indexed in TCI database (Thai Journal Citation Index Centre). The journal quality improvement is managed in line with the academic standards of Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) and The Thailand Research Fund (TRF). The editorial board includes Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors as well as academic experts holding a doctoral degree with continuous research works who are internal and external university personnel. The peer reviewers who evaluate academic manuscripts are experienced experts in the related fields of study with continuous academic works.

 

Journal Publication Process

1. Receive manuscripts from authors.

2.The editorial board screens manuscripts to ensure the correctness and completeness in accordance with the specified journal format guide and the copyright infringement examination (Turn it in).

3. The editorial board submits manuscripts to be reviewed by three peer reviewers through the double-blind review.

4. Return the reviewed manuscripts to the author for revision according to peer reviewers’ evaluation.

5. The editorial board verifies the correctness and quality of manuscripts and proceeds with future publication.

6. The committee prepares the final draft of journal publication.

7. The editor proofreads the final draft to ensure the correctness, completeness and quality for publication.

8. The committee publishes and disseminates the journal.

 

Publication Frequency

The journal has an agenda of publishing every 4 months with 3 issues per year.

Issue 1: January-April

Issue 2: May-August

Issue 3: September-December

Article Publication Charges

Authors are obliged to pay the publication charges after manuscripts pass the preliminary editorial screening as follows:

baht per article is required.

•  For outsiders, the publication charge of 3,500 baht per article is required. 
•  For internal personnel of Suan Dusit University with more than one external co-author,

the publication charge of 3,500 baht per article is required.

          The publication charge will not be refunded to authors if manuscripts are rejected

by peer reviewers.

Issuing and Sending Receipts 

Authors are required to notify the journal of the address for issuing and sending payment receipts. The delivery channel of receipts may be either via mail or e-mail (PDF file) depending on authors’ request.
