This quantitative research aimed to study the factors influencing the acceptance of a new form of investment in Real World Assets (RWA). The target group consisted of retail investors who had experience trading cryptocurrency or individuals working in organizations related to the crypto or blockchain industry. A sample of 452 participants were selected through purposive sampling. Data was collected using online questionnaires with close-ended questions. The questionnaire was tested both content validity and reliability, with the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) for all items at 0.6 and Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient yielded a score of 0.93. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was applied to identify and regroup latent constructs. The finding revealed seven key factors and seventeen key components, including: (1) Personal Traits (2) Perceived Risk (3) Governance Support (4) Technology (5) Perceived Benefit (6) Perceived Value of RWA (7) Intention to Adopt of RWA. Each factor comprised subcomponents that reflected investor readiness, perception of benefit and risks, as well as support from governmental and technological dimensions. The findings of this study can serve as a foundation for designing policies or strategies to promote RWA investment by the public sector, as well as for guiding the development of financial products by the private sector that aligned with investor needs.
