This academic article aims to present guidelines for using Santidhamma according to Buddhist principles in local development. Analyzed and presented Santidhamma consisting of 7 principles: morality, kindness and compassion, tolerance, right speech, right wayama, equanimity, and wisdom. Local development is a process that aims to make a community or local area prosper in various fields. with the cooperation of all sectors in the community. Santitham: It is a principle that leads to peace in society. Both at the individual level and society, which is important for local development in many aspects, the principles of Santidhamma are therefore important in local development. Because it will help promote peaceful coexistence. free from conflict and can create deep understanding in all dimensions of development, especially promoting kindness, compassion, and acceptance of differences. In conclusion, Santitham is an important guideline that can be applied in local development. Reducing conflict strengthens reconciliation and promotes sustainable development. Therefore, the government sector, regional organizations, and citizens should work together to use the principles of Santidhamma as a guideline for living life and managing communities. to bring about peace and sustainable progress.
