Relationship of Perception Factors affect the operational process according to the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence of College Medicine and Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani University

Abstract

Perception of factors affecting the process of operating according to education criteria for performance excellence and driving the operation to success. Therefore, this research aims to achieve two key objectives: 1) explore perceptions and the process of education criteria for performance excellence, and 2) analyze the relationships between perception factors and the process of education criteria for performance excellence. Employing a cross-sectional descriptive study design, eighty-five samples were collected by random sampling method through a structured questionnaire. Subsequent analysis involved examining both perception and the process of education criteria for performance excellence using mean and standard deviation calculations. The association between perception and the process of quality assurance was further investigated using Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that perceptions related to resources and support achieved the highest mean score (Mean 3.93), followed by administrators and policy (Mean 3.87), and management (Mean 3.79), respectively. Regarding the quality assurance processes within the PDCA system, 'Plan' exhibited the highest mean (Mean 3.75), followed by 'Action' (Mean 3.69), and 'Check' (Mean 3.68). An in-depth analysis predicting the impact of perception factors on educational quality assurance processes revealed that collectively, these factors explained 69 percent of the relationship. Notably, the variables of management and policy, along with organizational culture, emerged as significant contributors to the prediction, demonstrating statistical significance at the 0.05 level.
