Food stall sanitation and coliform bacteria contamination in meats: Case study in the market of Pak Nakhon sub district, Muang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract

The aim for this research was studied food stalls in the market of Pak Nakhon sub-district, Muang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. According to food sanitation provision for food stalls of food and water sanitation offices. The total studying of 60 stores and studying of coliform bacteria contamination of meat in the market of Pak Nakhon sub-district, district, Muang Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Using the Bacteria coliform test device (SI-2) as a testing tool. The samples of 44 were studied that they were analyzed by descriptive statistics such as frequency distribution, percentage.

The results were shown stalls that didn't comply with food sanitation provision for food stalls. In addition, the results of coliform bacterial contamination in the meat of the market showed 28 coliform bacteria contamination (65.11%) and 15 samples of coliform bacteria were not found. (34.88%)
