This article introduces Sirote's Model for University Quality Integration, a management framework blending modern management principles with Thai wisdom and culture. Developed by Associate Professor Dr. Sirote Pholphanthin, former president of Suan Dusit University, the model reflects his leadership in transforming the institution from a Rajabhat Institute into an autonomous university. It comprises 14 key components, including the strategic vision "SMALL but SMART," which focuses on specialized excellence, integrated change through vision alignment, process improvement, and cultural transformation, proactive human resource development to enhance personnel competencies, holistic quality management integrating international standards, and financial sustainability through academic business initiatives. The model also emphasizes fostering a learning and innovation-driven organizational culture and embedding social responsibility into the university’s core missions. Its success is evident in Suan Dusit University's distinctive strengths in areas like food, early childhood education, nursing, and hospitality. Furthermore, the article discusses the establishment of the "Sirote Pholphanthin Institute," which aims to develop leaders capable of managing change and addressing modern challenges by applying Sirote's Model. The article indicates that the model offers a robust framework for advancing higher education institutions in Thailand to adapt effectively to global changes.
