Guidelines for Developing Predictive Leadership of School Administrators in Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Division, Loei Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the current and desirable states of predictive leadership among school administrators in Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Division, Loei Province, and 2) propose guidelines for developing predictive leadership of these school administrators. The study employed a mixed-methods research design. The sample consisted of 150 administrators and teachers from Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Division, in Loei Province. Research instruments included a questionnaire and semi-structured interview form. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified), and content analysis.

          The results revealed that 1) the current state of predictive leadership was at a moderate level (= 3.25, S.D. = 0.75), while the desirable state was at a high level (= 4.52, S.D. = 0.48). The top three aspects with the highest development needs were future forecasting, innovation creation, and strategic planning. 2) Guidelines for developing predictive leadership included organizing practical workshops, creating learning exchange networks, utilizing future analysis tools, promoting research and innovation development, and integrating Buddhist principles into leadership development. These findings can be used as guidelines for developing training curricula and formulating policies to enhance predictive leadership among school administrators in Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Division.
