21ST CENTURY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR WORK AND CAREERS

Abstract
This academic article aims to examine and analyze the 21st century skills required for work and careers in the context of the digital era, which is characterized by rapid changes in technology, economy, and society. The study is based on a review of relevant academic literature and theoretical frameworks. The findings indicate that 21st century skills can be classified into four major categories: learning and innovation skills, digital and technology skills, life and career skills, and ethical and social skills. These skills play a crucial role in enhancing individuals’ abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, effective use of technology, and adaptability to changes in the modern workplace. The article emphasizes that the development of 21st century skills is a significant responsibility of educational institutions, organizations, and individuals in order to prepare for sustainable and high-quality careers in the future.
