Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to the Political Science and Public Administration Journal, Ubon Ratchathani University, must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s formatting requirements and submission guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal for consideration.

The journal accepts both Research Articles and Academic Articles in the fields of Political Science, Public Administration, and related interdisciplinary areas in the social sciences, in both Thai and English languages. Manuscripts should include all essential components, including the title, abstract, keywords, main text, references, and author information.

Authors are required to format their manuscripts according to the journal template and use the latest APA referencing style. Authors are also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of language, content, citations, and references prior to submission. The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s requirements and formatting standards.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process conducted by at least three external reviewers under a Double-Blind Peer Review system to ensure compliance with national and international standards of academic quality and publication ethics.

Authors must certify that their submitted manuscripts are original works and do not infringe upon any copyright or intellectual property rights of others. Proper citation and acknowledgment of all referenced sources are required in accordance with academic standards.

The journal permits readers to use published articles for academic, educational, and citation purposes, provided that proper acknowledgment of the source is given. The use of published materials for commercial purposes without permission from the journal is prohibited.
