Abstract

This study It is exploratory research. with a purpose to study depression in elderly people with chronic illnesses. and to study factors related to depression in elderly patients at Ban Saeng Wiman Health Promoting Hospital, Klong Noi Sub-district, Pak Phanang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The sample group in this study consisted of 359 individuals. The instrument used for collection was a questionnaire. Statistics used in data analysis using frequency distribution. Including percentage, mean and standard deviation. The correlation was analyzed using Chi-square statistics. Most of the subjects were female. The relationship between perceived violence, the relationship between family relationships and the relationship between the ability to perform daily tasks There was a statistically significant relationship.
