The Development Of Analytical Thinking Skills Using The STAD Technique Method Of Elementary Students. Amnuay Suksa School.Chanthaburi Province

The objectives of this research were: (1) to develop analytical thinking skills among primary school students at Amnuay Suksa School, Chanthaburi Province, (2) to enhance teaching practices for analytical thinking skills using the STAD technique among primary school teachers at the same school, and (3) to compare students’ analytical thinking skills before and after the implementation of the learning activities.
The findings revealed that students demonstrated improved analytical thinking skills, with an average improvement score of 12.47 and an average relative gain score of 67.99. The highest relative gain score was 94.12 (achieved by one student), and the lowest was 38.89 (also by one student). A comparison between pre-test and post-test scores indicated that the post-test scores were significantly higher than the pre-test scores.
The learning process using the STAD (Student Teams-Achievement Divisions) technique helped teachers design effective and engaging learning activities. It promoted students’ full potential through the development of analytical thinking, hands-on practice, invention, problem-solving, group collaboration, and the application of knowledge in real-life situations.
