Publication Ethics
Roles and Responsibilities of the Authors
1. Authors must not submit their articles previously published anywhere. Additionally, the original articles must not be duplicated in another journal.
2. Authors must take into account research ethics and must not violate or copy the work of others as their own.
3. Authors must prepare the original articles according to the "Instructions for Authors".
4. The author’s name appearing in the article must be a participant in preparing the article or conducting the research.
5. With regard to references to works, images, or tables, the author must indicate the sources to prevent copyright infringement. In the case of a lawsuit, it is the sole responsibility of the author. The journal will not be responsible.
6.Authors must check the accuracy of the list of references. The references must match the article.
7.Authors must revise the article according to the experts’ evaluation results within the specified time.
8. Authors must specify the research funding sources (if any) and must indicate conflicts of interest (if any)
9. Authors’ reports must not deviate from the truth. For example, authors must not create false information, forge documents, distort the truth, or select only the specific information conforming to the conclusion.
10. Authors must not use withdrawn reference, except the mentioned supporting text related to the removal process . Authors must specify in reference that it was the already removed document.
Roles and duties of the editor
1.The editor is responsible for considering the quality of an article to be published in this journal. After the article evaluation process, the editor must select an article for publishing in this journal by giving priority to the clarity and the content that is consistent with the journal's policy.
2.The editor must not disclose information about the authors and the article reviewers to other people.
3. The editor must not accept articles previously published anywhere. The editor must check plagiarism in the article. If plagiarism is found, the process will be immediately terminated, and a written rejection notification will be sent to the main author of the article.
4. The editor must not have conflicts of interest with the article reviewers.
5. The editor must not take some or all parts of the article as his/her own work.
6. The editor must considers accepting the articles that meet the academic standards and the standards of service provision of social work professionals for publication.
7. In case the editor found that author illegally copies the content of other articles or forges information, the editor can withdraw the article without the author's consent.
Roles and duties of the article reviewers
1. The reviewers must keep the article information confidential. Additionally, the reviewers must not disclose the information of articles submitted for consideration to unrelated people.
2. The reviewers should agree to evaluate only the article related to their field of expertise.
3. The reviewers must not take some or all parts of the article as their own work.
4. In case the reviewers may have conflicts of interest with the authors, which prevents them from giving independent opinions and suggestions, the reviewers should inform the journal editor and refuse to evaluate the articles.
5. In case the plagiarism found in the articles , the reviewers must immediately inform the editor.
