Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Journal of Exploration in Interdisciplinary Methodologies (JEIM)

1. Aim and Scope
The Journal of Exploration in Interdisciplinary Methodologies (JEIM) is an online journal dedicated to promoting knowledge and interdisciplinary research in the Humanities and Social Sciences, covering the following areas:

1. Humanities
(1.1) Cultural Studies
(1.2) Philosophy and Buddhism

2. Social Sciences
(2.1) Sociology and Anthropology
(2.2) Political Science and Public Administration
(2.3) Education

2. Types of Articles Published in the Journal
(2.1) Research Articles – Reports original research that has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
(2.2) Academic Articles – Provides significant academic insights, contributing new knowledge.
(2.3) Review Articles – Summarizes existing research and literature on a specific topic.

3. Publication Schedule
JEIM publishes monthly in 2024; from 2025 onwards, JEIM will publish bimonthly:

Vol. 2 No. 1 – January-February
Vol. 2 No. 2 – March-April
Vol. 2 No. 3 – May-June
Vol. 2 No. 4 – July-August
Vol. 2 No. 5 – September-October
Vol. 2 No. 6 – November-December

4. Article Review and Peer Review Process
All submitted articles undergo a double-blind peer review process, where at least two experts evaluate the work without knowing the author’s identity, and vice versa. Editorial approval is required before publication. Articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors are expected to adhere strictly to the journal's submission guidelines and formatting requirements. The opinions expressed in the articles are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not represent the views of the editors.

5. Publication Fee
A fee of 4,000 Baht (Four Thousand Baht) is charged per article after peer review and acceptance. Payment can be made through Siam Commercial Bank, Account Number: 414-0720-17-4. Payment proof must be sent via Line: @Dr_Niraj.

6. Conditions for Rejection
(6.1) Duplication exceeding 20% based on CopyCatch from ThaiJo.
(6.2) Non-compliance with the journal's format.
(6.3) The article has not undergone expert review.
(6.4) Failure to revise within one month after notification.

7. Publication Language
JEIM publishes articles in English and Thai.

8. Manuscript Submission and Formatting

2. Research Objectives – Clearly stated objectives.
3. Methods – Research design, population, data collection, and analysis methods.
4. Results – Findings using text, tables, or figures.
5. Discussion – Comparison with previous studies and analysis of implications.
6. Conclusion and Recommendations – Summary and future research suggestions.
7. References – Follow APA 7th edition format.

11. Final Submission Checklist
Ensure that:
(11.1) The manuscript follows APA 7th edition.
(11.2) The document is proofread and formatted correctly.
(11.3) All sources are properly cited.
