Fees and Funding

Article Processing Charge (APC)

I-JBER is an open access journal. To cover the costs of peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, and online hosting, authors (or their funders or institutions) are required to pay an article processing charge for each article accepted for publication. The APC is:

This fee is subject to VAT or local taxes where applicable.

When the APC Is Payable

  • There is no submission fee and no charge for peer review.
  • The APC is invoiced only after the manuscript has been accepted following peer review.
  • Payment of the APC has no influence on editorial decisions.
  • The APC is non-refundable once the article has been published.

Open Access Funding

Authors may be able to obtain open access funding from their research funders or institutions. Authors are encouraged to check with their funder or institution's research office before submission.
