Integrating the Four Iddhipāda Principles into Civic Education: A Learning Management Model for Phrapariyattidhamma Schools in Nong Khai Province

This research focuses on developing and evaluating a learning management model that integrates the Four Iddhipāda principles—Chanda (desire), Viriya (effort), Citta (consciousness), and Vīmaṁsā (investigation)—into civic education for students in Phrapariyattidhamma Schools in Nong Khai Province. The study employed a research and development (R&D) approach, involving both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, including questionnaires, interviews, and pretest-posttest assessments. The findings indicate that the new model significantly enhances students' understanding and application of civic duties, aligning Buddhist moral principles with contemporary educational needs. Both students and educators reported high levels of satisfaction with the model, highlighting its effectiveness in fostering critical thinking and ethical behavior. The study concludes with recommendations for broader implementation and further research on integrating traditional Buddhist teachings with modern educational practices.
