Author Guidelines
Guidelines for Submitting Articles to Insights into Modern Education (i-ME)
Articles submitted for publication in Insights into Modern Education (i-ME) should contain academic content in the fields of education including: (1) adult, career, and vocational education (2) higher education (3) teaching and teacher education (4) assessment and evaluation (5) educational management (6) counseling and student services (7) science education (8) mathematics (9) environmental education (10) social sciences (11) linguistics (12) educational administration (13) teaching social studies (14) related fields. Articles must not have been previously published or under review for publication in any other journal. Authors are required to strictly adhere to the journal’s guidelines for submitting academic or research articles and ensure that references are formatted according to the APA 7th style.
Authors must not report false or misleading information, including fabricating, falsifying, distorting, or selectively presenting data to align with conclusions. The opinions and views expressed in articles published in Insights into Modern Education (i-ME) are the sole responsibility of the authors and do not reflect the opinions or accountability of the journal’s editorial board. Authors must also maintain ethical research practices and avoid plagiarism or claiming others’ work as their own. The journal allows a maximum similarity index of 30%.
Publication Fee:
A fee of 4,000 THB (Four Thousand Baht) per article is charged and must be paid after the article is accepted for publication. Once the article has undergone evaluation by the reviewers, the fee is non-refundable.

Article Preparation
Authors submitting articles for publication in Insights into Modern Education (i-ME) must adhere to the journal's specific components and formatting requirements, which can be found in the Author Guidelines.
Types of Articles Published in Insights into Modern Education (i-ME)
1. Special Articles: Advanced academic articles offering in-depth knowledge. These articles undergo rigorous peer review by experts in the relevant fields and are aimed at scholars and professionals.
2. Academic Articles: General academic works presenting knowledge and insights intended for students, undergraduates, or the general public.
3. Research Articles: Reports of new research findings that provide valuable insights and have not been published in any other journal.
4. Review Articles: Syntheses of knowledge from books, journals, or the author's experiences, with critical analysis, comparison, and commentary.
5. Miscellany Articles: Includes knowledge reviews, translations, summaries of international journals, opinion pieces, critiques, introductions of new tools or books, and reports on national or international conferences.
Article Submission Process
To publish in Insights into Modern Education (i-ME), articles must be submitted through the online registration system at: https://so19.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/IME
Submissions will be reviewed by the editorial board to ensure compliance with journal requirements.
Article Review and Proofreading
Authors should ensure their articles adhere to the journal's formatting and submission requirements before submission. Proper proofreading and verification of the article’s accuracy will expedite the review process. The editorial board reserves the right to return articles that do not meet the specified requirements for correction prior to consideration.

Article Review and Selection Process
Each article will undergo a review process by at least two expert peer reviewers specializing in the relevant field. The approval of the editorial board is required before publication. The review process follows a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other.
3. Main Text Structure
3.1 Preparing Research Articles
The research article should include the following sections:
3.1.1 Introduction
This section provides an overview based on a review of related research, knowledge, and evidence from relevant books or journals. It should highlight the rationale and importance of the research problem being addressed.
3.1.2 Research Objectives
This section outlines the research objectives, specifying what is being studied. It should detail the principles and methods used to analyze and present the results.
3.1.3 Methods
Describe the research design, activities, details, population and sample, study methods, research tools, and statistical analyses employed.
3.1.4 Results
Present findings categorized according to the research objectives. Include descriptions in the text and provide additional details through illustrations, tables, graphs, or charts as appropriate.
3.1.5 Discussion
Analyze the results, comparing them with findings from other studies to provide new insights related to the research topic. Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the study methods, propose new perspectives, and identify challenges or obstacles encountered during the research. Offer suggestions for practical applications.
3.1.6 Suggestions
Provide recommendations for applying the research findings effectively.
3.1.7 Knowledge Assets
Specify the key insights, methods, or frameworks derived from the research. Present these as prose, diagrams, charts, or conceptual maps to ensure clarity and practical utility.
3.1.8 References
Use APA (7th edition) in-text citation style. References should be cited in parentheses ( ) within the text and must follow the APA format guidelines, which are widely used for clarity and ease of study.
3.2 Preparation of Academic Articles
Academic articles must include the following components:
3.2.1 Introduction
The introduction provides an overview using a review of research reports, knowledge, and evidence from books or journals relevant to the study. It explains the rationale and importance of the problem being addressed.
3.2.2 Content
The content section conveys the main ideas that the author wishes to share with readers. High-quality content must be clear, detailed, and engaging, reflecting the author's intellectual capabilities.
3.2.3 Summarizing
The summary distills the article to include only essential points, effectively filtering and consolidating information to present only what is significant.
3.2.4 Knowledge Assets
This section specifies key insights derived from the synthesis of principles and methods, presented in formats such as prose, diagrams, charts, or conceptual maps, to provide accessible and actionable knowledge.
3.2.5 References
References must be cited within the text following the APA 7th (American Psychological Association) edition format. In-text citations should appear in parentheses ( ) and conform to widely accepted standards for clarity and ease of study.
3.3 Preparation of Book Reviews
Book reviews should include the following components:
3.3.1 Book Title
The title of the book must be provided in both Thai and English.
3.3.2 Author's Name
The full name of the book's author must be included in both Thai and English, along with their institutional or organizational affiliation.
3.3.3 Reviewer’s Name
The reviewer's full name must be provided in both Thai and English, along with their institutional or organizational affiliation.
3.3.4 Review Content
The review section contains critical analysis, including strengths and weaknesses of the book, supported by reasoned academic arguments.
3.3.5 Summarizing
The summary provides a concise overview of the review's conclusions, along with practical insights or observations beneficial to readers.
3.3.6 Knowledge Assets
This section identifies key knowledge gained from the review, synthesized into formats such as prose, diagrams, or conceptual maps, to convey essential insights effectively.
3.3.7 References
References must follow the APA (7th edition) format. Sources cited within the text should be enclosed in parentheses ( ) and must adhere to widely recognized citation standards to facilitate ease of study and academic integrity.
In-Text Citations in APA 7th Format
1. Books
1.1 Tripitaka Scriptures
Cite the abbreviation of the scripture, volume/section/page, and include "(Pali)" or "(Thai)" in parentheses after the abbreviation depending on the language version used.
Example: (Anguttara Nikaya, Dukanipata (Thai) 20/395/106)
1.2 Books
In-text citation (before the text):
Format: Author's Name (Year, Page Number if applicable)

Single Author: Include full name without title prefixes (e.g., Mr., Ms.). For monks, include their title (e.g., Phra, Phra Maha) and monastic rank if applicable.
Two Authors: List both names connected by “และ” (Thai) or "and" / "&" (English).
Example (Thai): พระธนนันท์ ฐานุตฺตโร และบุญชนะ ทาโยธี (2016)
Example (English): Bruce and Blackburn (1992)
Three Authors: Separate names with commas, with “และ” (Thai) or "and" / "&" (English) before the last name.
Example (Thai): ภาสกร ดอกจันทร์, สุรพล พรมกุล และสุบัน โยทุม (2009)
Example (English): Dokchan, Phromkun, and Yothum (2009)
More than Three Authors: Use the first author’s name followed by “และคณะ” (Thai) or "et al." / "and others" (English).
Example (Thai): สุชาติ ประสิทธิ์รัฐสินธุ์ และคณะ (1982, p. 100)
Example (English): Prasitratsin et al. (1982, p. 100)
1.3 Journals
Follow the same format as books for citing journals.

Use the same format as books.
