A Model for Promoting Social Studies Learning Skills Employing Tri-Sikkha Principles for Secondary School Students in Khon Kaen Municipality

This research aims to develop and evaluate a model for promoting social studies learning skills among secondary school students in Khon Kaen Municipality using the Tri-Sikkha principles, which encompass morality (Sila), concentration (Samadhi), and wisdom (Panna). The study employed a research and development (R&D) methodology, involving both qualitative and quantitative data collection from educators and students. The model's effectiveness was assessed through pretest and posttest evaluations, focusing on cognitive skills, problem-solving abilities, and group process skills. The findings indicate that the model significantly enhanced students' learning outcomes, with posttest scores showing marked improvement. The study concludes with recommendations for implementing the model more broadly within the Thai educational system.
