Developing income from silk Products in the Ban Thap Yai community, Rattanaburi District. Surin Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the public opinion towards incomedevelopment from silk product in the community group of Ban Thap Yai, Thap Yai Subdistrict,Rattanaburi District, Surin Province, 2) to compare the public opinion towards incomedevelopment from silk product in the community group of Ban Thap Yai, Thap Yai Subdistrict,Rattanaburi District, Surin Province, and 3) to present the income development from silkuct in the community group of Ban Thap Yai, Thap Yai Subdistrict, Rattanaburi Dice, using a mixed-method research format combining quantitative anearch methods. The quantitative research used a sample group of residents in Baap Yai Subdistrict, Rattanaburi District, Surin Province, totaling 208 individuals, selage random sampling technique. Questionnaires were used to collect databoth open-ended and closed-ended questions, with a questionnaire reliability 921. Hypothesis testing was conducted using One Way ANOVA to analyze variance of statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level .Findings 1.The public opinion towards income development from silk producommunity group of Ban Thap Yai, Thap Yai Subdistrict, Rattanaburi District, Surin Province,s generally positive. Upon examining specific aspects, it was found that the levedevelopment in various aspects including raw materials, weaving groups, investment, andlabor hiring were all rated highly. 2. Comparison of public opinion in Ban Thap Yai, Thap Yai Subdistrict, RattanaburiDistrict, Surin Province, regarding income development from silk product in the communityp revealed significant differences based on demographic factors such as age,and monthly income. However, there were no significant differences observed based ongender and education level. Therefore, the initial hypotheses were rejected These findings provide valuable insights for the development and improvement ofincome from silk product in the community group of Ban Thap Yai, Thap Yai Subdistrict,Rattanaburi District, Surin Province.
