Abstract

This paper explores the emerging trends in educational management in Northeast Thailand (Isan), focusing on the region's unique challenges and the impact of recent government policies. The study examines the decentralization of education, the integration of digital tools, and the push for inclusive education, as well as community involvement in supporting educational initiatives. By analyzing case studies from provinces like Nakhon Ratchasima, Ubon Ratchathani, and Khon Kaen, the paper highlights the successes and challenges of implementing innovative educational practices in the region. The findings indicate that while government policies such as the 20-Year National Strategy (2017-2036) and the Thailand 4.0 Framework are driving educational reforms, issues like poverty, teacher shortages, and migration continue to hinder progress. The paper concludes that a region-specific approach to educational management, which addresses the unique needs of Isan, is essential for ensuring equitable access to quality education for all students.
