The MBU Roi Et Journal of Global Education Review, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Roi Et Campus, is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved including editors, authors, and reviewers—are required to strictly adhere to the following ethical principles and standards:
- Roles and Responsibilities of Editors and the Editorial Board
1.1 The editors and editorial board are responsible for reviewing and screening all submitted manuscripts. They must ensure that the content aligns with the journal's aims and scope and oversee the quality of the manuscripts through a rigorous pre-publication peer-review process.
1.2 Evaluation of manuscripts must be based solely on academic merit and theoretical rationale. Editors must remain objective and free from any bias toward the authors or the subject matter under consideration.
1.3 Editors and the editorial board must have no conflicts of interest with authors or reviewers, whether for commercial gain or personal academic benefit.
1.4 Editors must not withhold, alter, or interfere with the communication and data exchange between reviewers and authors.
1.5 Editors and the editorial board must strictly comply with the journal’s established protocols and procedural steps.
- Roles and Responsibilities of Authors
2.1 Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published or is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2.2 Authors must provide proper citations and references whenever the work or words of others are used. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
2.3 If the research involves human participants, animal subjects, or sensitive data, authors must strictly adhere to ethical principles and relevant laws. Informed consent must be obtained prior to data collection. Supporting documents, such as certification from an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Ethics Committee, must be provided upon submission.
2.4 Authors must agree to transfer copyright to the MBU Roi Et Journal of Global Education Review prior to publication. Once published, the work may not be reproduced or republished in other venues.
2.5 All individuals listed as authors must have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, or execution of the reported study.
- Roles and Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers
3.1 Reviewers must have no conflicts of interest with the authors. The evaluation must be based primarily on the academic quality and rigor of the manuscript, conducted objectively without personal bias or prejudice.
3.2 Reviewers should only accept manuscripts for which they have the necessary subject expertise to provide a comprehensive and accurate evaluation.
3.3 Reviewers must not use information or ideas obtained through the peer-review process for personal gain or advantage.
3.4 If a reviewer identifies any instance of plagiarism or substantial similarity to other published works, they must immediately notify the editor and provide clear supporting evidence.
3.5 Reviewers are expected to complete their evaluations within the timeframe specified by the journal and must maintain the absolute confidentiality of the manuscript and the review process.
