Publication Ethics

Roles and Responsibilities of Authors

  1. Authors must ensure that the submitted article has not been previously published or submitted to other journals simultaneously.
  2. Authors must uphold research ethics and refrain from plagiarizing or claiming others' work as their own.
  3. Authors are required to revise their article to comply with the journal’s format as outlined in the “Instructions for Authors.”
  4. All listed authors must have directly contributed to the creation of the article or the research process.
  5. Proper citations must be provided for all works, images, or tables used in the article, clearly stating their sources to prevent copyright infringement. Authors bear full responsibility for any legal disputes that may arise, and the journal will not be held accountable.
  6. Authors must verify the accuracy of references, including both format and content. They should avoid referencing works they have not read or including unnecessary references in the bibliography. Citations should be limited to those that are essential and relevant.
  7. Authors are required to revise their articles based on feedback from reviewers and the editorial board within the stipulated timeframe.
  8. Articles must not contain any fabricated, falsified, or distorted data, including selective presentation of data to align with the conclusions.
  9. Authors should avoid referencing retracted documents unless the context of the retraction is relevant, in which case the retraction status must be clearly indicated in the references.

Roles and Responsibilities of Editors

  1. Editors are responsible for assessing the quality of articles for publication in the journal, selecting articles after they have undergone the peer-review process, and ensuring that the content aligns with the journal’s policies. Articles should reflect theoretical insights gained from experience, literature synthesis, or research, emphasizing the presentation of new theoretical concepts or conceptual models that contribute to academic research.
  2. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of authors and reviewers throughout the evaluation process.
  3. Editors should not publish articles that have been previously published elsewhere. A thorough plagiarism check using reliable software must be conducted to ensure no content is plagiarized. If plagiarism is detected, the review process must be halted, and the primary author should be contacted for clarification before deciding whether to accept or reject the article.
  4. Editors must avoid conflicts of interest with authors and reviewers.
  5. Editors must not use any part of an article for their own benefit.
  6. Editors are responsible for publishing research articles with proper methodologies and reliable results, using research outcomes as a basis for publication decisions.
  7. If plagiarism or data falsification is identified and the author refuses to withdraw the article, editors have the right and responsibility to retract the article without the author's consent.
  8. Acceptance letters for publication will only be issued after authors have fully addressed reviewers' comments and revised their articles accordingly.

Roles and Responsibilities of Reviewers

  1. Reviewers must keep the content of submitted articles confidential and not disclose any information to unauthorized individuals during the review process.
  2. If reviewers recognize a conflict of interest with the author that may hinder an impartial review, they should inform the editor and decline to review the article.
  3. Reviewers should evaluate articles within their field of expertise, considering the relevance of the content to the discipline, the quality of analysis, and the significance of the findings. They should also identify key research works relevant to the article that the author has not cited. Reviewers should not base their judgments on personal opinions unsupported by evidence.
  4. If reviewers find any part of the article that overlaps with or duplicates other works, they must notify the editor.
