In the digital age, technology and the internet play an important role in the daily lives of youth. From learning, communication to social and political participation. Youth should have guidelines for how to conduct themselves appropriately in the digital age to be able to use technology safely effective and participate in society creatively, namely 1) use technology responsibly 2) practice media and information literacy 3) protect the privacy of oneself and others 4) Use technology for learning and self-development 5) Participate in society and politics creatively 6) Allocate time to use technology appropriately 7) Create content that is valuable and beneficial to society. The roles of youth in a digital democracy are 1) Promoting political participation through digital media. 2) Examining and criticizing those in power. 3) Creating an inclusive and equitable political culture Youth should take the lead in promoting. 4) creating learning networks and developing political potential. 5) Campaigns to raise awareness of important issues. 6) Expressing opinions and creating political discourse. 7) Political activism through digital media. 8) Participation in elections and political decision-making. 9) Using Technology to create political transparency
