การมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในระดับท้องถิ่น

การมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองของประชาชนในระดับท้องถิ่นหมายถึงการเปิดโอกาสให้ทุกฝ่ายเข้ามามีบทบาทในการปกครองพื้นที่ของตน ซึ่งสามารถทำได้ในหลายรูปแบบ เช่น 1. การมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในด้านทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมในพื้นที่ 2. การเลือกตั้งสมาชิกสภาท้องถิ่นและผู้บริหารท้องถิ่น 3. การถอดถอนสมาชิกสภาท้องถิ่นและผู้บริหาร หรือการเสนอข้อบัญญัติท้องถิ่น 4. การลงประชามติ 5. การบริหารจัดการองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น โดยรวมแล้ว การส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนในท้องถิ่นยังสามารถทำได้โดย 1. การให้ประชาชนมีส่วนร่วมในการรับรู้ปัญหาท้องถิ่น 2. การร่วมกันตัดสินใจเลือกแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหา 3. การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมท้องถิ่น 4. การร่วมติดตามประเมินผลและตรวจสอบ
