ความไว้วางใจทางการเมืองของประชาชนที่มีต่อนักการเมืองท้องถิ่น

ความไว้วางใจเป็นหัวใจสำคัญของการเข้ามามีส่วนกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐเพราะประชาชนคือผู้เสียภาษี และเป็นผู้ที่ปฏิบัติตามกฎหมาย หากประชาชนขาดความไว้วางใจแล้วหน่วยงานภาครัฐก็จะขาดความร่วมมือจากประชาชน ประชาชนเห็นว่านักการเมืองถือเป็นบุคคลสาธารณะจึงต้องมีความรับผิดชอบมากกว่าปกติจะทำกิจกรรมที่ทำอะไรก็จะเกิดประเด็นที่ประชาชนรับรู้ได้หรือบางครั้งผ่านสื่อต่างๆให้ประชาชนได้รับรู้ ซึ่งประชาชนจะคาดหวังกับนักการเมืองที่ตนเองเลือก ปัจจัยที่ประชาชนมอบความไว้วางใจทางการเมืองให้แก่นักการท้องถิ่นนั้นได้แก่ 1. ปัจจัยด้านนโยบาย คือ 1.1 ด้านนโยบายว่าด้วยท้องถิ่น 1.2 ด้านบริการสาธารณะ 2. ปัจจัยด้านประสิทธิผลการทำงาน 3. ปัจจัยด้านการสื่อสารทางการเมือง 4. ปัจจัยด้านบุคลิกภาพ
