Process

The article review process for publication in the Journal of Educational Innovation and Social Sciences consists of eight steps as follows:

Step 1: Article Submission

Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the ThaiJO online system at:

Step 2: Initial Editorial Review (1 week)

All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by the editorial board to ensure that they meet the journal requirements in the following aspects:

  • Manuscript formatting
  • Language quality
  • Plagiarism (must not exceed 25%)
  • Adequacy and reliability of references
  • Reference formatting style
  • Content redundancy

If the manuscript does not comply with the journal’s guidelines or exceeds the plagiarism limit, the manuscript will be rejected at this stage and returned to the author.

Step 3: Peer Review Process (1–2 weeks)

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to at least 2–3 reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The journal uses a Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which reviewers do not know the identity of the authors, and authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.

The reviewers’ decisions are categorized into four levels:

  • Accept
  • Accept with minor revision
  • Accept with major revision
  • Reject

Step 4: Revision by Authors (1–2 weeks)

After receiving the reviewers’ comments, the editorial board will summarize the results and send them to the authors for revision according to the reviewers’ suggestions. The process is as follows:

  • Review results will be sent to the authors within 7 days after receiving reviewers’ comments.
  • Authors must revise the manuscript and submit the revised version through the system within 14 days.

Manuscripts will be accepted for publication if the result is Accept or Accept with minor revision.
For Accept with major revision, the editor will make the final decision.
For Reject, the manuscript will not be published in the journal.

Step 5: Submission of Revised Manuscript (1–2 weeks)

Authors must submit the revised manuscript along with a Response to Reviewers document through the journal system. The process includes:

  • The editorial board will check the revised manuscript within 7 days.
  • If a second revision is required, authors must resubmit within 7 days.
  • The journal reserves the right not to issue an acceptance letter if the author fails to revise the manuscript within the specified time without explanation.

Step 6: Acceptance Letter

Once the manuscript has been revised and approved, the editorial board will issue an Acceptance Letter and proceed with the formatting process for publication. This process takes no more than 7 days.

Step 7: Abstract and Proofreading Check (1–2 weeks)

The editorial board will review the abstract, proofreading, and formatting of the manuscript.

  • The editorial board will complete the format check within 7 days.
  • Authors must revise and resubmit within 7 days.

Step 8: Publication

After completing all required processes, the article will be published according to the journal’s publication schedule through the ThaiJO system at:
